The firm traces its origins to 1982, when it was established by Mr. Shashi Upadhyay as Upadhyay and Upadhyay Consultants (UNUC). Over the decades, the firm has evolved into a multi-disciplinary legal practice advising on complex commercial, infrastructure, and regulatory matters.

UNUC Legal has experience in arbitration matters involving aggregate claim values exceeding USD 1 billion, with its work spanning domestic and cross-border disputes. The firm’s arbitration and disputes practice is supported by sectoral and technical understanding, enabling it to advise on disputes arising from large infrastructure projects and regulated industries.
